Three Men Found Guilty in Mexico of Murdering Australian Robinson Brothers and Their American Friend
A judge in Ensenada, Mexico, on Friday (Oct. 9) found three men guilty of the 2024 murders of Australian brothers Callum Robinson, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, and their American friend Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, during a surf trip to Baja California, Reuters reported. Sentencing is set for Oct. 16 — prosecutors sought up to 150 years.
The three victims were camping and surfing near Punta San Jose, about 80 km south of Ensenada, when they were reported missing in late April 2024. After a days-long search aided by the FBI, their bodies were found on May 3 at the bottom of a well, each with a gunshot wound to the head.
