Maywood Issues Emergency Alert on Upcoming Medi-Cal Policy Changes for Some Qualified Non-Citizens
Maywood is a city in Los Angeles County, California. According to the City of Maywood's official website, the City has issued an EMERGENCY ALERT with an important notice: upcoming changes to Medi-Cal eligibility and coverage policies for some qualified non-citizens.
The alert was posted in the City's Alert Center on September 3. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) is informing residents that the changes take effect October 1, 2026, and could affect Medi-Cal eligibility or coverage for some individuals.
