Rubio Issues Statement Congratulating Spain on Its National Day
WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a statement on October 12 congratulating Spain on its National Day, La Fiesta Nacional de España.
Rubio noted that the United States is marking its 250th anniversary and recalled the support Spain extended to the United States in its early history, wishing the Spanish people a happy celebration and continued prosperity. National-day messages of this kind are a customary practice for the State Department on the national days of allies and partners.
