Utah Mammoth Host Maple Leafs on 'Frozen Frenzy' Night in Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah. On Tuesday night, the Utah Mammoth host the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, one of the headline games of the NHL's league-wide 'Frozen Frenzy' night, with puck drop at 9 p.m. Eastern. According to NHL.com's preview, the marquee matchup pits the league's sharpest special-teams weapons against each other: Utah's power play is converting at 40% this season (10-for-25), second in the league, led by Nick Schmaltz's four power-play goals and Dylan Guenther's three; Toronto's penalty kill is at 95% (19-for-20), also second in the league, and has killed off nine straight penalties over its last two games.
The Mammoth beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-1 on the road last Saturday, while the Maple Leafs continue their road trip after a 6-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. Leafs rookie left winger Gavin McKenna is one to watch — the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft has four points (one goal, three assists) in his first six games.
