Fiber-Optic Outage Knocks Out Network at MSJC's Menifee Valley Campus
Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) announced on October 14 that its Menifee Valley Campus in Menifee is experiencing a complete network outage caused by a major fiber-optic service disruption in the Menifee area.
The college described the campus network as completely down because of the fiber-optic disruption. The notice did not give a specific cause for the failure or an estimated time for service to be restored.
MSJC is the community college district serving the San Jacinto Valley in Riverside County, with campuses in San Jacinto, Menifee, Banning and Temecula.
