NBA 2K27 Season 2 Launches Today: Clark and Haliburton Headline GOAT Builds and a Remastered Sunset Beach
Publisher 2K announced on October 14 that Season 2 of NBA 2K27 launches on Friday, October 16, just in time for the NBA tip-off. The season is headlined by Deluxe Edition cover athlete Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, and the game also arrives on the Windows PC Store the same day.
The headline addition is GOAT Builds: precise recreations of NBA legends and current stars that exceed the standard MyPLAYER Builder's physical and attribute caps. Klay Thompson, Carmelo Anthony, Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard are available at launch, with additional builds earnable through REP and Lifetime Challenges. The City also welcomes back a remastered Sunset Beach, the coastal court first seen in NBA 2K17.
Patch 2.0 arrives alongside the season with improvements and fixes across gameplay, MyCAREER Eras and Crew HQ. Crew Divisions offer Double Crew XP and a 25% REP boost, and MyTEAM adds Premier Exchange upgrades. On the music side, 2K Beats adds five new mixes, including a selection curated by Haliburton, a Space Jam 30th-anniversary tribute, and ten tracks inspired by New York's Rucker Park.
