Pittsburgh Releases Milling and Paving Schedule for Week of October 19; 2026 Resurfacing Program Invests Nearly $16.3 Million

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh is a city in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The City of Pittsburgh's Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) on October 16 released its milling and paving schedule for the week of October 19, as the city's 2026 street resurfacing program continues. The specific streets and dates are posted weekly on DOMI's paving schedule page, and the city notes the schedule is subject to change or postponement due to weather or other factors.
In 2026, Pittsburgh is investing nearly $16.3 million in its street resurfacing program, which will repave more than 24 miles of streets over the year. The program covers asphalt resurfacing, ADA curb ramp upgrades on paved streets, pavement markings, and repair of concrete, brick and block stone streets. Beyond the city's own work, additional mileage is resurfaced through cooperation agreements with local utilities, and mechanical patching addresses trouble spots on many more miles of roadway.
Under the program, "No Parking" signs showing the day and time restrictions are posted on roads 48 hours before milling and paving work is expected to begin. DOMI publishes the weekly milling and paving plan on its website and publicizes it through city social media channels.
