345-Unit Apartment Community The Watson Opens in North Austin Tech Corridor; 45 Homes Reserved for Moderate-Income Households
AUSTIN — Austin is a city in Travis County, Texas. Multifamily developer Morgan announced on October 18 the opening of The Watson, a new seven-story, 345-unit apartment community at 11901 Burnet Road in North Austin. Located in the heart of the North Austin tech corridor, just steps from The Domain, the property offers studio to three-bedroom homes with 10-foot ceilings, quartz countertops, under-cabinet LED lighting, backlit bathroom mirrors and custom closets.
Amenities include two boutique pools, a skyline plunge pool overlooking The Domain, a sunset roof terrace, a co-working lounge, a fitness center, a coffee bar and a dog park. Approximately 45 residences are reserved for households earning up to 60 percent of the Austin Area Median Income, expanding affordable housing options in a high-demand area.
The community includes approximately 522 parking spaces with EV charging stations, and is pursuing NGBS Green Silver certification and Austin Energy Green Building 1-Star certification.
