Rapper Juvenile Cancels October 21 Minneapolis Show After Two Delays; AXS Refunds Under Way
MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Rapper Juvenile has canceled his October 21 show at Minneapolis's storied First Avenue, with no replacement date announced, local outlet Bring Me The News reported on October 17. The show had a troubled path: first set for July 14, then postponed to August 9, then moved to October 21, before being scrapped altogether after more than three months of shifts.
First Avenue has begun refunds: tickets bought online or by phone through AXS will be automatically refunded to the original payment card within up to 30 business days, while tickets bought through other channels are handled by the original seller. Juvenile has offered no explanation, and his representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The cancellation is not a tour-wide shutdown: the rest of the "Boiling Point Album Release Tour," with The 400 Degreez Band & Friends, remains on his official itinerary, which now starts October 22 at Lincoln, Nebraska's Bourbon Theatre, followed by St. Louis on October 23 and Memphis on October 24.
