St. Louis City's 21-Game Unbeaten Run Ends in 3-2 Comeback Loss at Minnesota

St. Louis is an independent city in Missouri. St. Louis City SC endured a roller coaster at Minnesota's Allianz Field on Saturday, October 17: a 2-0 lead turned into a 3-2 loss as Minnesota United scored three straight goals, ending St. Louis's 21-game unbeaten run across all competitions (19 in league play).
St. Louis started dreamily: club-record signing Rafael Navarro opened the scoring and Jeong Sang-bin added a second. But the second half flipped the match — Aziel Jackson and Kelvin Yeboah scored for Minnesota before Marcus Caldeira completed the comeback with the winner in the 86th minute.
It was Minnesota's first home win since April 18, according to MLS's website. The three points give the Loons 34 points with four regular-season games left, four points behind ninth place — the West's final playoff spot — reviving their postseason hopes. St. Louis, despite the end of the streak, remain near the top of the West.
