Menifee Posts Weekly Road Work Update: Slurry Seal Work Starts Oct. 19 in Several Neighborhoods; Three Projects Delayed to December

MENIFEE — Menifee is a city in Riverside County, California. The City of Menifee posted its weekly road work update on Oct. 16: slurry seal work will roll through several neighborhoods during the week starting Oct. 19, while three ongoing projects face delays lasting into December.
According to the city, neighborhoods scheduled for slurry seal this week include Heritage Lakes, Sun City, Newport Hills II, Centennial Park and the Corson Avenue and Evans Road area. Temporary no-parking rules will apply on work streets, but traffic will not be affected. The city also confirmed slurry seal work in the Country Glen neighborhood is complete.
On delays, three projects are affected: Encanto Road between Rouse Road and McLaughlin Road (tied to the Kaiser project), Valley Boulevard between Goetz Road and Thorton Avenue, and nighttime underground utility work on Domenigoni Road by Southern California Edison, all now expected to run into December 2026. A new traffic signal at Craig Avenue and Evans Road is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
The city said it will publish weekly updates on progress and affected street segments.
