Calabasas Pumpkin Festival Returns Sunday to Juan Bautista de Anza Park

CALABASAS — The City of Calabasas presents its annual Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Juan Bautista de Anza Park, 3701 Lost Hills Road. Tickets are $15 per person in advance online and $20 at the gate, with children under 24 months admitted free; the entrance and parking are at the corner of Lost Hills Road and Agoura Road.
The one-day festival packs in a pumpkin patch, professional pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting, pumpkin pies and other pumpkin foods, live music, carnival games, inflatable rides, a vendor marketplace, reptile and bug shows, car displays, and a beer garden and business expo hosted by the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce.
The city's name comes from calabaza, the Spanish word for pumpkin, and the festival dates to 1970, making it one of the community's longest-running celebrations.
