California SuperLotto Plus Draws a $64 Million Jackpot Winner: Ticket Sold at an Anaheim 7-Eleven, the Game's First Jackpot Since March

Anaheim — A ticket sold in Anaheim matched all six numbers in Saturday evening's SuperLotto Plus drawing and is worth $64 million, the California Lottery announced, according to MyNewsLA (City News Service). The numbers drawn on Saturday, October 17 were 3, 25, 27, 29 and 37, with the Mega number 17. The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven convenience store at 240 S. Magnolia Ave. in Anaheim. The winner has not been identified.
The California Lottery said it was the game's first jackpot since March 28, when a $10 million ticket was sold in the Bay Area city of Fremont; Saturday's drawing was the 58th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold. Three additional tickets matched the five main numbers and won $13,920 each: one sold at a liquor store in Citrus Heights in Sacramento County, one at a Northgate Market in Long Beach, and one at a Stater Bros. market in Adelanto in San Bernardino County.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number are 1 in 41,416,353, according to the California Lottery. With the jackpot hit, the prize resets to $7 million for the next drawing, on Wednesday, October 21.
