Wildomar Woman Arrested on Suspicion of DUI Near Elsinore High School, Sheriff's Office Says

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office reported that on Tuesday, October 6, at about 9:05 a.m., deputies responded to the 21000 block of Canyon Drive in Wildomar — where Elsinore High School is located — regarding a report of a possible DUI driver. Deputies located the vehicle and contacted the driver, determined she was operating the vehicle under the influence, and arrested her without incident.
The Sheriff's Office identified the driver as Amanda Castello, 48, of Wildomar, and said she was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of DUI. Castello is listed as a campus supervisor in Elsinore High School's online staff directory. The Sheriff's Office said the investigation remains ongoing and no further details are available.
The Sheriff's statement describes allegations only; charging decisions and court proceedings rest with prosecutors and the courts.
