Seattle Restaurant Week Opens With More Than 250 Restaurants Offering $20 to $65 Set Menus

SEATTLE — Seattle is a city in King County, Washington. Seattle Restaurant Week, the twice-yearly dining event in Seattle, Washington, opened its fall edition on October 18 and runs through October 31, with more than 250 restaurants across the greater Seattle area taking part.
Participating restaurants, spread from Tacoma to Everett, are offering set-price menus at $20, $35, $50 and $65, highlighting chef's picks and signature dishes. Diners can browse the full list at srweek.org and filter by cuisine, neighborhood and dietary preferences. The event is held each spring and fall; this year's spring edition ran from April 19 to May 2.
New this fall is the Give a Meal Passport, a digital pass that lets diners check in at participating restaurants that donate meals or funds to local community kitchens. Participants are entered to win two tickets to the James Beard Foundation's Taste America Seattle event.
This fall's edition also marks National Seafood Month and One Ocean Week Seattle (October 19-25) by highlighting dishes made with locally harvested seafood, in support of local producers and sustainable fishing. (GSM, based on USA Today and srweek.org)
