The Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens, a county-owned venue in Cherry Valley in Riverside County, California, will celebrate the completion of a roughly yearlong renovation with a grand re-opening ceremony at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, in the main house, and the public is invited. The Riverside County Office of Economic Development announced the reopening on October 20. The museum sits on 16 acres at 9401 Oak Glen Road.

According to the county, the work began in mid-September 2025 and wrapped up earlier this month. Upgrades include new flooring, expanded restrooms and kitchen facilities, a new addition called Kay Plaza, enhanced lighting, fresh paint, and landscaping refinements, with all upgrades meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. No construction budget was disclosed.

Fifth District Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez said: "Arts and cultural venues bring our communities together and define who we are. I am thrilled to welcome residents back to this beloved place so they can see how great it looks." The museum, overseen by the county's economic development agency, is a popular site for weddings, gatherings, and community events.

The Edward-Dean Museum was established in 1958 by antiques dealers Edward Eberle and Dean Stout and deeded to Riverside County in 1964. Its collection centers on European and Asian decorative arts from the late 16th through early 19th centuries, and its historic house and gardens are a well-known cultural landmark in the San Gorgonio Pass area.
