Cerritos Overnight Parking Permit Renewals for 2027 Begin Nov. 2; Holiday Enforcement Pauses Set
Renewals of overnight parking permits for 2027 in Cerritos, a city in Los Angeles County, California, begin Monday, Nov. 2, the city announced Oct. 19. Applications can be submitted online at safercerritos.us, with processing taking about two to three weeks; once issued, permits remain valid through the end of 2027, and residents may apply at any time during the year. Permits are normally required to park on Cerritos streets between 3 and 5 a.m., keeping streets clear of obstructions and helping residents and patrolling officers spot suspicious vehicles. For the holidays, the city will suspend overnight parking enforcement from Nov. 21 to Nov. 30 and again from Dec. 12 to Jan. 4, 2027, to accommodate visiting family and friends. Questions can be directed to the Community Safety Division at (562) 916-1266; City Hall is at 18125 Bloomfield Avenue.
