[Video] Co-op Shooter Mycopunk Leaves Early Access With 1.0 Launch: Joins PS Plus Game Catalog on Day One
Mycopunk, the co-op shooter developed by Pigeons at Play and published by Devolver Digital, left early access on October 20 with its full 1.0 release on PC and PlayStation 5, priced at $14.99. The game also joined PlayStation's PS Plus Game Catalog on day one, available to Extra and Premium subscribers.
Mycopunk is a looter shooter for up to four players. Players take on the role of the New Atlas Hazard Crew, a squad of robots hired by the SAXON corporation to clean up an out-of-control fungal outbreak. Weapons are customized through a grid-based upgrade system that lets players snap modules together.
The game entered Steam Early Access on July 10, 2025, and holds an 88 percent positive rating from players. The 1.0 release adds a new character, the Mycologist, new weapons, the freezing Snowball Grenade, a new lunar zone, X11-B, and changes to the upgrade system.
