City of Westminster, Orange County Opens Public Vote on 70th Anniversary Logo Designs, October 21–25

The City of Westminster, in Orange County, California, has opened public voting in its 70th anniversary logo design contest. In the October issue of its city newsletter, The WIN, the city said voting runs October 21–25, with one vote per category.
The contest has two categories: a general category open to residents age 13 and older and licensed city businesses, whose winning design will become the official 70th anniversary logo; and a K–12 category for students who live in Westminster and attend schools serving the city, whose winning design will be used for youth anniversary programming. Winning designs will be used on citywide promotional materials and anniversary events. The results will go to the city's Cultural Arts Commission and City Council.
Westminster was incorporated in 1957 and marks its 70th anniversary in 2027. The city is home to Little Saigon, a center of Vietnamese American life and a frequent destination for Orange County's Chinese American residents.
