Lake Elsinore Holds Public Hearing on Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Covering Emissions Inventory and Reduction Targets
LAKE ELSINORE, California — The Planning Commission of Lake Elsinore, in Riverside County, California, held a public hearing on October 20 at 6 p.m. at the Lake Elsinore Cultural Center, 183 North Main Street, on adopting the city's Climate Action and Adaptation Plan.
According to the city's hearing notice, the plan includes a citywide greenhouse gas inventory, emissions reduction targets and adaptation strategies for climate impacts. After taking public testimony, the commission was to act on adoption of the plan; the plan text and hearing arrangements were published by the city as required.
