Phoenix Launches PHXLink On-Demand Microtransit on October 26: $2 per Trip in Select Zones

PHOENIX, Arizona — The City of Phoenix, in Maricopa County, Arizona, announced that PHXLink, a new shared on-demand microtransit service, launches on October 26. The service will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in select zones at $2 per trip, bookable by app or phone, and is designed to carry riders to their destinations and connect them with existing fixed transit routes.
The city said PHXLink uses smaller vehicles dispatched on demand to serve trips that fixed routes do not cover well. Ahead of the launch, the city held pop-up information events on October 20, 21 and 22 to show residents how booking works and where the service will run. Zone maps, booking channels and operating details are published on the city's website. (GSM, based on the City of Phoenix announcement)
