Salt Lake City Opens 2027 ACE Fund Applications: Grants of $500 to $10,000 for Community Events, Through November 1

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Mayor's Office of Salt Lake City, in Salt Lake County, Utah, has opened applications for the 2027 Arts, Culture, and Entertainment (ACE) Grant, through November 1. Since 2012, the ACE Fund has supported festivals, cultural celebrations and neighborhood gatherings led by the community; individual awards range from $500 to $10,000 and can fund cultural programming, education, festivals and neighborhood events, which must take place within city limits.
The city is hosting four information sessions in October, including one on October 22 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library, a virtual session on October 27 and a session at Sprague Library on October 29. 'When we invest in ACE grants, residents see that support come to life in their own neighborhoods,' said Mayor Erin Mendenhall. Recipients will be announced in late December.
