"Looksmaxxing" Influencer Clavicular Pleads Not Guilty to Rape Charge at Arraignment

Thursday, October 22, 2026 · Society · GSM News

ORLEANS, Mass. — Braden Peters, the 20-year-old "manosphere" streamer known as Clavicular who rose to fame with "looksmaxxing" content and commands more than a million followers, appeared for his arraignment at Orleans District Court on October 22, pleading not guilty to felony counts of rape and drugging a person for sex, plus a misdemeanor count of providing alcohol to an underage person.

According to court records obtained by USA Today, the alleged incident occurred in May 2025 at Peters' family home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The complainant, Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, then 17, alleged the content creator pressured her to get drunk and then raped her while she was asleep, per the criminal complaint.

Peters posted a $10,000 cash bail and was released on conditions including surrendering his passport, having no contact with the alleged victim and not posting about her on social media. His legal team filed a motion to dismiss the case for insufficient evidence the same day.

Attorney David Meier, representing Peters, told USA Today on October 22 that his client "categorically denies these allegations." Meier said the two were in a professional and personal relationship and that the complainant did not report anything to police until June 2026, after filing a civil lawsuit seeking money.

Mendoza alleged Peters had sex with her while she was intoxicated and did not consent, and injected her with an "unapproved drug" on May 23, 2025. She sued Peters for physical and sexual abuse in April and filed a police report with the Chatham Police Department on June 4.
