Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Launches October 22: 12 Motion-Control Sports Arrive on Wuhu Island
Nintendo has released the motion-control sports game Nintendo Switch Sports Resort for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22. Set on the island resort of Wuhu Island, the game uses Joy-Con 2 controllers as bows, rackets, handlebars and more, and can be played solo, with friends in person, or online.
The game features 12 sports, including returning events such as Boxing, Table Tennis, Archery, Tennis, Volleyball, Bowling, Basketball and Golf, along with new additions Thumb Wrestling and Skateboarding. Players can also explore the island and hunt for photo spots in leisure sports such as Prop Plane and Power Cruising, and can compete against players of a similar level in the online Pro League.
Nintendo previously announced a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with the game, including the system, a full game download and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. The previous title in the series, Nintendo Switch Sports, was released in 2022.
