CPSC Warns Consumers to Stop Using CiuseiAnx Infant Walkers: Walkers Fit Through Standard Doorways and Fail to Stop at Step Edges

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a warning urging consumers to stop using CiuseiAnx infant walkers immediately. The agency determined that the walkers violate the mandatory safety standard for infant walkers, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fall hazard: the walkers can fit through a standard doorway and fail to stop at the edge of a step.
According to the CPSC, the walkers are foldable, have five adjustable height settings, and were sold in light pink, black, grey and white. They have six-wheel assemblies, a detachable music box and colorful rotatable toys, and a label on the seat's underside reads "Model Number: A001" and "Infant Baby Walker."
The CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the retailer, Guangzhou Anshixin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as CiuseiAnx, of China. The agency said the firm has not agreed to an acceptable recall of the walkers, and it urged consumers to stop using them immediately and dispose of them, and not to sell or give them away.
