Culver City Council to Hold Public Hearing Nov. 9 on Citywide Parking Maximums Ordinance

Thursday, October 22, 2026 · California · GSM News

The City of Culver City, in Los Angeles County, California, through its Current Planning Division, has given notice of a City Council public hearing on Monday, Nov. 9, 2026, at 7 p.m. on a proposed city-initiated Zoning Code Amendment, to be held at City Hall, Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Boulevard, Culver City, CA 90232, in person or via Zoom.

The amendment would revise Chapter 17.320 of the Culver City Municipal Code, on off-street parking and loading, to establish new parking maximum ratios and procedures for new and redeveloped projects. The city says the project is exempt from environmental review under the general rule in CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).

The agenda and staff report will be available no later than 72 hours before the meeting; written comments are due before 3 p.m. on Nov. 9 to the Current Planning Division, Attn: Gabriel Barreras, at City Hall, (310) 253-5776; speakers will have up to three minutes. Accessibility requests may be directed to the City Clerk at (310) 253-5851.
