TEMECULA, California — The board of Visit Temecula Valley, the destination marketing organization for the City of Temecula in Riverside County, California, announced on October 22 the appointment of Annette Brown as chief executive officer. She had served as interim CEO since May 2026 and previously as the organization's chief marketing officer, capping 15 years with the agency.

Brown brings more than 30 years of hospitality and marketing experience, earned the CDME destination-management credential this year, and has served locally on bodies including the city's General Plan Advisory Committee. She now leads promotion of one of Southern California's principal wine-country and resort destinations.

According to Dean Runyan Associates' 2025 economic impact report, travel-related spending in the Temecula Valley reached $1.2 billion and supported 9,650 hospitality jobs. Tourism is a major revenue source for Temecula and neighboring cities such as Murrieta and Menifee, with hotel and sales taxes flowing directly into city budgets.
