Resorts World in Queens Opens "International Room": 48 Tables in a High-End Private Salon Setting

NEW YORK, New York — Resorts World New York City, in Queens, New York, announced on October 22 the opening of its new "International Room," which it bills as New York City's first and only gaming space dedicated to high-end players. The roughly 13,657-square-foot room has 48 gaming tables and three private salons, focused on high-limit baccarat, roulette and blackjack, with dedicated concierge service, upgraded beverages and 24-hour hot and cold dining; the private salons can be reserved and offer entertainment including karaoke. Queens-born rapper Nas appeared at the opening, as the casino also marked its 15th anniversary. The casino said the new space aims to bring to New York the kind of premium, private experience previously found only at the world's top casino resorts, so high-end players need not travel far. Resorts World New York City is the only casino-hotel within New York City and is operated by the Genting Group.
