Asian American Chamber of Commerce Holds 17th Business Summit and "Jewels of Asia" Gala on October 22
FAIRFAX, Virginia — The Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), in Fairfax, Fairfax County, Virginia, held its flagship day of events on Thursday, October 22 at Crystal View in Fairfax: the 17th Asian American Business Summit and the "Jewels of Asia" Chamber Awards Gala on the same day. The daytime summit featured keynote speeches and networking sessions focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and cross-sector collaboration; the evening gala, with a plated dinner and celebration, honored individuals and institutions with lasting impact on the community. The chamber says the business summit has served for nearly two decades as a platform connecting Asian business leaders, entrepreneurs, government officials and community leaders with public- and private-sector resources, and that the "Jewels of Asia" gala is its annual celebration of outstanding achievement. This year the two events were combined into a one-day series, with organizers saying they hoped attendees could learn, network and celebrate within a single day.
