Connecticut Settles With SunRun Over Solar Sales Practices; Elevate Ordered Dissolved

Connecticut has reached a settlement with residential solar company SunRun over its sales practices. Under the terms, SunRun will pay the state $300,000.
Elevate, a sales firm that worked with SunRun, and its principals Howes and Grumet were assessed $200,000 in penalties, with $100,000 payable now and the remainder suspended; Elevate was ordered dissolved. The salespeople named in the action were Dakota Grumet and Sierra Howes.
The state's case against another solar sales company, Bright Planet, remains pending and is not part of this settlement.
