Archer Unveils Texas Triangle Air Taxi Network Covering DFW, Houston and Austin

Electric aircraft maker Archer Aviation announced on October 23 that it will build an air taxi network in the Texas Triangle, covering the Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston and Austin metropolitan areas.
The network will use Archer's four-seat Midnight electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft and forms part of the White House-backed eIPP electric aviation pilot program. Archer is working with ACES and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) on supporting charging infrastructure.
The Midnight aircraft is on public display during the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin, October 22 to 25. Archer said the Texas Triangle, among the fastest-growing regions in the country, is a natural early market for air taxi service.
