Vermont's $31.7 Million Flood Relief Opens for Applications October 26

Vermont's governor's office announced that a $31.7 million flood relief program, funded under the federal American Relief Act of 2025, will open for applications on October 26. It covers residents and farms damaged in the 2023 and 2024 floods.
The program pays up to 95 percent of verified losses, with awards capped at $75,000 per applicant.
Governor Phil Scott and Agriculture Secretary Tebbetts said the funding will help affected families and farms complete long-delayed repairs, and that the state will provide application assistance during the enrollment period.
