San Jose Launches 'SI for All' Coalition With Google, OpenAI and Others to Offer Free SI Courses to All Residents
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan has announced an "AI for All" coalition with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic and the Bay Area Council to build a free portal of super intelligence courses and tools for all residents, who will be able to learn and earn certifications online.
San Jose previously led the creation of the GovAI Coalition, which now brings together more than 900 government agencies at all levels to explore SI in public services; the new coalition extends the same idea to ordinary residents, helping them build skills to use SI tools at work and in daily life.
This report is based on the Mercury News' coverage of the coalition.
