Port of Long Beach Recirculates Draft Supplemental Review for Pier B Rail Facility: Public Meeting Nov. 18, Comments Due Dec. 9
The Port of Long Beach, in Los Angeles County, California, has recirculated the draft supplemental environmental impact report for its Pier B On-Dock Rail Support Facility project for public review and comment.
The Pier B project is designed to expand the port's on-dock rail capacity and increase the share of container cargo moving by rail, with the overall program targeted for completion in 2032. The recirculated draft document is available for public review, and written comments are being accepted.
The port will hold a public meeting on November 18 to present the draft supplemental review and hear comments. The written comment period closes December 9. Project documents and submission details are available from the Port of Long Beach.
