Holland America Line Launches Alaska Heritage Tours on October 24 Ahead of Its 80th Alaska Season in 2027

On October 24, Holland America Line announced the launch of its Alaska Heritage Tours, building anticipation for its 80th Alaska season in the summer of 2027. The company said many of the tours are classic experiences that first inspired travelers decades ago.
The heritage collection includes five tours: the McKinley Explorer glass-domed rail journey through the Alaska interior, the White Pass Summit scenic railroad excursion over the Klondike Gold Rush route above Skagway, a Mendenhall Glacier expedition departing from Juneau, a Kenai Fjords National Park cruise to view tidewater glaciers and marine wildlife, and the Denali Tundra Wilderness Tour deep into Denali National Park.
The tours can be booked alongside selected 2027 Alaska sailings and land-and-sea packages, including Alaska cruisetours, Alaska Explorer, the Inside Passage, the 28-day Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle voyage and Glacier Discovery itineraries. Specific sailings, departure dates and prices have not yet been announced. Holland America Line is a brand of the Carnival group, and Alaska has long been its flagship summer product; its land-and-sea packages usually begin or end in Anchorage or Fairbanks, so travelers should confirm their connections in advance.
