On Oct. 24, a community media outlet serving the Asian community published a weekend guide to the Asian food festival "Asia in a Bite," introducing the arrangements for the free festival: the first stop was held Oct. 24 to 25 at Tingey Square at the Navy Yard in Washington, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with about 20 to 30 Asian food stalls and about 10 merchandise stalls, with free admission but advance reservation required.

The guide also previewed that the festival's second stop would come to One Loudoun in Ashburn, Virginia, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, at 44578 Atwater Drive, also with free admission and advance reservation required, with specific time slots subject to the reservation page. The guide reminded readers that because the times announced for each stop differed slightly, they should check the time on the reservation page before setting out.

For Asian families in Northern Virginia, the Ashburn stop is an Asian street food gathering at their doorstep, with stalls covering Asian-style snacks and merchandise, and DJ music on site. The festival organizer said both stops are free to enter, and visitors can attend at their reserved time to taste Asian street food and shop for merchandise.
