Atlanta: PNC Atlanta 10 Miler and 5K on Oct. 25, Starting and Finishing at Atlantic Station
On October 25, the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler and 5K, organized by the Atlanta Track Club, was held, with the start and finish both at Atlantic Station and runners passing through the Buckhead community. The organizer had announced earlier that both the 10-mile and 5K events had sold out and registration was closed, and a youth one-mile run and dash were also arranged on Saturday. The race follows a rain-or-shine principle and may only be delayed or canceled for severe weather such as lightning. After finishing, runners and their families could celebrate at the shops and restaurants of Atlantic Station, with some businesses offering discounts over the race weekend, making it one of Atlanta's most popular fall road races.
