On October 24, the University of Hawaiʻi women's soccer team beat Grand Canyon 1-0 at home in Honolulu, extending its winning streak to six with a third straight shutout. Rainbow Wahine forward Tatum Porter scored directly from a corner kick, and goalkeeper Kennedy Justin's key save in the 67th minute preserved the win. Hawaiʻi outshot Grand Canyon 12-7 and led 8-2 in corner kicks, improving to 9-4-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play with 18 points, alone in second place, and tying the program record for its second-longest conference winning streak. With three conference matches left, the team is in form heading into the season's final stretch and next hosts UNLV on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The coaching staff said the team has paired timely scoring with solid defending, an important combination entering the closing phase of the season.
