Las Vegas Arts District Hosts 'Picnic in the Alley' Again on October 25, Honoring Women in Food and Craft

From 3 to 6 p.m. on October 25, Las Vegas's Arts District hosted the fifth annual Picnic in the Alley, founded by local food advocate Jolene Mannina and co-produced by Sharee Bruscher, linking multiple venues for an afternoon of food and shopping; tickets were $150 for guests 21 and over. The event celebrates women chefs and hospitality professionals, with participating chefs and artisans including Amber Tuttle, Lorena Cardenas and Edna Penate of Sparrow + Wolf, Andrea McLean of PopNpies, Honey Salt pastry chef Andrea Mineshima and Erica Bell of Double Zero Pie and Pub, spanning sweet and savory offerings. Local makers also sold handmade goods alongside featured selections from Arts District shops. Organizers said they were thrilled to bring the picnic back to the Arts District for a special gathering of Las Vegas hospitality icons and artists. A local fall fixture since its founding, the picnic added new partners this year and expanded its women-focused showcase.
