Sunday, October 25, 2026 · States · GSM News

In a Big Ten showdown in Ann Arbor on October 24, No. 6 Indiana beat Michigan 13-6 in overtime, the Hoosiers' first win at Michigan Stadium since 1967. Regulation ended 6-6, with Indiana kicking a field goal in each of the first two quarters and Michigan answering with one in the third and fourth. In overtime, Indiana quarterback Josh Hoover ran for the game's only touchdown to seal the win, while Michigan failed to score.

It was a defensive battle: Hoover completed just 8 of 18 passes for 81 yards with no touchdown passes and one interception. For Michigan, true freshman quarterback Tommy Carr, making his first career start, lost a fumble and threw an interception in the first half.

Indiana, which lost at home to Ohio State 19-15 a week earlier, keeps itself in the title race with the road win. Michigan had beaten Penn State 21-18 the week before.
