Country Singer Luke Bryan's Son Bo Bryan Commits to Georgia Bulldogs Football

Sunday, October 25, 2026 · States · GSM News

Bo Bryan, a quarterback and the son of country music singer Luke Bryan, announced on October 25 that he will play football at the University of Georgia, fulfilling a longtime dream. Bryan attends Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, and is a three-star quarterback in the class of 2027.

Georgia extended him a scholarship offer on October 20 — his first from a Power Four program — and he announced his decision on social media on October 25. "When I got that offer, it meant everything to me, a dream come true," Bryan told USA Today. "I always knew if I got the offer, that's where I wanted to go."

In his first seven starts this season, Bryan led his team to a 6-1 record, completing 74% of his passes for 2,006 yards and 30 touchdowns against just three interceptions; however, he broke his collarbone in the first quarter of an October 16 game against Pope John Paul II High School. His father, Luke Bryan, is from Leesburg, Georgia, and the whole family are Georgia fans. With Bryan's commitment, Georgia's 2027 recruiting class now has 25 commits and ranks ninth nationally.
