The Indiana Pacers rolled to a 136-109 road win over the Brooklyn Nets in New York on the night of October 25. Indiana shot 58 percent from the field and hit 21 of 43 three-point attempts, overwhelming the Nets from the second quarter onward.

The Pacers trailed by two after the first quarter but won the second quarter 41-30 to take a 65-56 halftime lead. They stretched the margin with a 37-24 third quarter and carried a 98-74 lead into the fourth, putting the game out of reach. Tyrese Haliburton finished with 24 points and 10 assists for a double-double; in the third quarter, after Pascal Siakam came up with a steal and found him, Haliburton threw the ball off the backboard to himself for a dunk, the highlight of the night. Siakam added 21 points, and reserve Obi Toppin scored 16. For Brooklyn, reserve guard Nolan Traore led the way with 17 points as the Nets fell to 0-3 to start the season.

Haliburton, who missed last season with a torn right Achilles tendon, has looked sharp since returning. The blowout win kept Indiana's strong start going; the Pacers next visit the Milwaukee Bucks on the night of October 26.
