Nashville Half Marathon Results Announced: 3,800 Runners Take Part

Sunday, October 25, 2026 · States · GSM News

On October 25, the organizers of the Nashville, Tennessee, Half Marathon announced the results of this year's race. In clear morning weather at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, 3,800 registered runners took to the streets of Music City; the race was organized by the local running organization Run Nash, and the course passed through a number of Nashville's landmark neighborhoods.

The women's title was won by Vanderbilt University student Audrey Swank, in 1 hour, 24 minutes, 47 seconds. Swank comes from Fairbanks, Alaska, and is a junior majoring in music at Vanderbilt; this was her second consecutive year in the event — last year she joked that she "ran very slowly" — and this year she took the title. After the race she said she intends to come back next year to defend it.

The men's title was won by Bethel University student Hudson Wallace, in 1 hour, 13 minutes, 21 seconds. Wallace comes from McKenzie, Tennessee, and is a senior on Bethel University's cross-country team; competing in the Nashville Half Marathon for the first time, he won the race and praised the strength of the field and the scenery along the course.

The organizers said this year's event drew competitive runners, first-time participants, and family runners together, showcasing the community vitality of Nashville as Music City.
