Wyoming Governor Gordon Endorses Barlow and a Slate of State-Level Candidates Ahead of November 3 Election

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon rolled out endorsements for a slate of Republican candidates this week. The state's congressional delegation had earlier, on October 22, endorsed Eric Barlow for governor and Chuck Gray for the U.S. House in a joint video. Barlow will face Democratic candidate Ken Casner and Constitution Party candidate Rebecca Bextel. Gray's opponents include Democrat Lisa Kinney, Constitution Party candidate Jeff Haggit and Libertarian Sean Johnson. Gray received President Trump's endorsement earlier this month, with Trump saying Gray has his "complete and total endorsement." Gordon's endorsement list also includes support for Robert Short for secretary of state, incumbent State Auditor Kristi Racines, incumbent State Treasurer Curt Meier, and State Representative Steve Harshman for superintendent of public instruction. In an email, Gordon called Barlow a "leader and a doer" he knows, and said Wyoming needs Barlow now more than ever. Wyoming's general election is on November 3, with early and absentee voting under way.
