PMGO 2026 Season 2 Grand Finals Day 1: Nepal's Horaa Esports Top 16 Teams on 57 Points as 67-Point Smash Rule Sets Up Final Day
Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 2 Grand Finals wrapped up on October 24 after six matches, with Nepal's Horaa Esports leading the 16 finalists on 57 points. Turkey's ULF Esports sit second on 53 points, ahead of Indonesia's Alter Ego Ares on 48. The title will be decided on the final day, October 25, when the Smash Rule comes into effect with a championship threshold of 67 points.
Horaa's 57 points came from 25 placement points and 32 elimination points, plus one Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. ULF posted the day's highest elimination total, 37, also with one Chicken Dinner. AK Gold are fourth on 44 points and The MongolZ fifth on 41, followed by a three-way tie on 39 between the United States' Wolves, OLD NOT and 4K Esports. Bigetron by Vitality are ninth on 37 and Vampire Esports tenth on 33, while S2G Esports — the PMWC 2026 champions — ended the day only 11th on 29 points. BUF (24), Regnum Carya (22) and Influence Rage (21) occupy the bottom three places.
Match by match, ULF won the opener on Rondo with 29 points, the highest single-match score of the day. AK Gold and Alter Ego won the second and third matches on Erangel, Horaa took the fourth match, also on Erangel, and OLD NOT and Wolves closed the day with wins on Miramar.
The Grand Finals are staged in Lahore, Pakistan, with a $500,000 prize pool, and run over two days. Six more matches are scheduled for October 25, with a seventh if required. The Smash Rule applies on day two: the threshold is set at the day-one leader's total plus 10 points — 67. The first team to reach 67 points and then win a Chicken Dinner in any subsequent match takes the title on the spot. Final placements also determine the PMGC points each team carries toward the global championship.
