Vikings Beat Colts 16-10 to Stay Perfect at 6-0: Second-Half Shutout, Murray's Late TD Pass Seal Week 7 Win

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings beat the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday in Week 7 to improve to 6-0, remaining undefeated, while the Colts fell to 2-5.
Jonathan Taylor's 38-yard touchdown run gave Indianapolis a 7-0 first-quarter lead. Will Reichard kicked two field goals for Minnesota and Spencer Shrader added a 43-yarder for the Colts, who led 10-6 at halftime.
After a scoreless third quarter, Kyler Murray set up his go-ahead score with a 35-yard run early in the fourth, then hit T.J. Hockenson with a 5-yard touchdown pass for a 13-10 lead. Reichard's 52-yard field goal with 1:39 left made it 16-10, and Harrison Smith intercepted Daniel Jones near midfield with 1:15 to play — Smith's first interception of the season — to seal the win.
Murray finished 14-of-24 for 150 yards and one touchdown; Hockenson caught four passes for 35 yards and Justin Jefferson four for 44. Taylor ran for 95 yards and a touchdown, while Jones threw for just 108 yards, was sacked four times and intercepted late. Shrader missed two second-half field goals, his first two misses of the season. Minnesota's defense has not allowed a fourth-quarter touchdown in 11 straight regular-season games, all of them wins. The Vikings travel to Detroit in Week 8.
