NFL: Denver Broncos Beat Arizona Cardinals 30-16 for Third Straight Win as Bo Nix Breaks Loose for 62-Yard TD Run

GLENDALE, Arizona — The Denver Broncos beat the Arizona Cardinals 30-16 at State Farm Stadium on Sunday, October 25, in NFL Week 7, earning their third straight win to reach 5-2 while Arizona fell to 2-5 with its 10th consecutive home loss. Quarterback Bo Nix supplied the turning point with a 62-yard touchdown run in the second quarter — the longest run by a quarterback in franchise history and the longest by any NFL quarterback since 2022.
With the score tied 3-3 and 3:57 left in the first half, Nix climbed the pocket on second down and sprinted down the left side, reaching 19.9 miles per hour according to Next Gen Stats, with no defender within four yards until he neared the 5-yard line before diving into the end zone. Denver never trailed again. Early in the third quarter, running back RJ Harvey added a 52-yard catch-and-run touchdown. The Broncos piled up 377 net yards, matched their season high with 30 points, built a season-best 17-point lead in the fourth quarter, and finished with their largest margin of victory this season; five different players recorded gains of at least 20 yards.
For Arizona, Jacoby Brissett went 27-of-48 for 272 yards and a touchdown, and tight end Trey McBride caught 10 passes for 111 yards and a score. Late in the game the Cardinals reached the Denver 1-yard line with first-and-goal but failed to score over seven plays. At halftime, the Cardinals retired the jersey of Hall of Fame receiver Larry Fitzgerald and added him to their Ring of Honor.
