Orange County, California: 39 Vote Centers Open, With a Pop-Up Today in Seal Beach and an October 29 Stop at Irvine's South Coast Chinese Cultural Center

Sunday, October 25, 2026 · California · GSM News

The 39 Vote Centers opened by the Orange County Registrar of Voters in California for the November 3 general election are now operating daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through November 2, and a pop-up voting site is running today, October 25, at Leisure World in Seal Beach. The Registrar notes that the October 29 pop-up will be held at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center in Irvine, where Chinese-American voters in Orange County can vote, replace a ballot or register close to home.

Under the Registrar's published schedule, Orange County has 191 Vote Centers in all: the first 39 opened on October 24 for 11 days, and the remaining 152 open on October 31. On Election Day, November 3, all centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters may cast a ballot in person at any Vote Center, drop off a vote-by-mail ballot, obtain a replacement ballot or update their registration; they may also use one of 128 official ballot drop boxes, or mail the ballot back postage-free, postmarked by November 3.

Orange County Registrar of Voters Bob Page said early voting means shorter lines and faster results: "Voting early means shorter lines for voters and faster results for everyone." The earlier ballots come in, he said, the more of them can be processed in time for election-night results.

The five pop-up voting events are: October 25 at Leisure World, 1661 Golden Rain Road, Seal Beach (residents and guests only); October 27 at the Braille Institute Anaheim Center, 527 N. Dale Ave.; October 29 at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, 9 Truman St., Irvine; October 31 at CREER Comunidad y Familia, 31322 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano; and November 2 at AltaMed Medical Group, Bristol, 2720 S. Bristol St., Santa Ana.

Orange County ballots for this election come in 549 styles, with 430 candidates across 169 contests, plus 14 state propositions, 13 city measures and 2 school bond measures. In Irvine, Vote Centers include the Irvine Valley College Student Services Center, the Las Lomas, Northwood and Quail Hill community centers, and UC Irvine's Gateway Study Center, all on the county schedule. Residents who missed the October 19 registration deadline can still register conditionally and vote provisionally at the Registrar's office or any Vote Center. Locations, hours and live wait times are at ocvote.gov.
