Monday, October 26, 2026 · City · GSM News

The San Francisco City Hall Voting Center entered its weekday schedule on Monday, October 26, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; October 26 to 30 and Monday, November 2 will all follow this schedule, while November 3, Election Day, will follow Election Day hours. The center had already been open on the weekends of October 24-25 and October 31-November 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and in fact, starting Saturday, October 24, the City Hall Voting Center entered a phase of being open every day through Election Day. At the center, voters can register to vote, cast a ballot, obtain a replacement ballot, or return a completed vote-by-mail ballot; eligible noncitizen residents can also register and take part in Board of Education elections. The center provides paper ballots and accessible voting equipment that supports touchscreen or audio options, and official ballots and information materials are available on site in multiple languages. Voters with limited mobility can call (415) 558-6100 to request curbside voting or ask a companion to request assistance on their behalf; voters who cannot come in person can also authorize someone else to pick up a ballot using a ballot pickup authorization form. Department of Elections Director John Arntz said the weekend hours are intended to let voters fit voting into their weekend plans, while the weekday hours give office workers another option, and he urged voters to use these time slots to vote as early as possible.
