The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team, in Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, will hold a free intrasquad scrimmage on October 29. According to an October 26 release from the University of Hawaii at Manoa athletics department, the scrimmage will be held at 7 p.m. on October 29 at Bankoh Arena inside the Stan Sheriff Center, free and open to fans.
The Rainbow Warriors will play at least four sets in the scrimmage and are expected to rotate through multiple lineup combinations, giving fans an early look at the 2027 team's shape. The scrimmage also marks the near-conclusion of the team's fall training schedule; the team recently completed an international tour of Japan, where it played four exhibition matches, and held an intrasquad scrimmage on Kauai last Saturday.
The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team is a traditional national power in college men's volleyball and has many fans in Honolulu; the free scrimmage offers fans a close-up chance to observe the new season's roster. The team said fans are welcome to attend, with entry arrangements as announced by the university. The match is also an important part of the team's preparation for the 2027 season, and the performance of its mix of veterans and newcomers bears watching.
